Nagatacho Kurosawa

Nagatacho Kurosawa

Akira Kurosawa was a film director famous around the world, and here at Nagatacho Kurosawa, a member of Kurosawa's artistic staff has created a restaurant exterior and interior based on the great director's film Yojimbo. The interior is decorated with film posters and stills celebrating Kurosawa's works. The menu features buckwheat soba noodles and shabu-shabu which were favorite meals of Kurosawa, as well as recipes that were used by his daughter for family meals. Nagatacho Kurosawa thus offers a true insight into the world of the famous director. The restaurant's large Japanese-style room and private rooms are all in the horigotatsu style, making it a relaxing and comfortable, yet still very Japanese option for overseas visitors.
