“The Apollo” is a Modern Greek restaurant originally hailing from Sydney, Australia. This recently opened location is situated atop “Tokyo Plaza Ginza”, on the 11th floor. Here, diners can look down on Ginza’s famous Sukiyabashi Intersection, where the old-fashioned and the brand-new literally meet. The original “Apollo” was opened in 2012 by two Greek-Australians, Sam and Jonathan (the chef) and has been featured in “Australia’s Hot 50 Restaurants” three years in a row. The Ginza location is a huge hit too, and is continually packed with customers. The simple and cool interior provides the perfect setting for lively conversation while sharing dishes made with the finest olive oil, lemon, fresh vegetables, and seafood.
