Financial and In-kind Support
Tokyo provides organizers of international association meetings with financial and in-kind support to ensure that the meeting is efficiently planned, local resources are optimized, and all efforts are made to promote attendance. The support details are based on the total number of registered in-person attendees in Tokyo with a minimum of 50 attendees.
An application must be submitted by a local bid committee based in Japan before the final decision is made on the host city selection. Additionally, there must be at least one other candidate city for the conference and it must rotate across various countries at regular intervals.
