Further relaxation of events capacity limitation
Effective from September 19, the limitation regarding maximum participants for venues with a size for more than 10,000 people has been removed on the condition to keep numbers under 50% of its capacity. For facilities with a maximum space of under 10,000, the upper limit of 5,000 people will remain while full capacity is allowed for meetings and exhibitions with limited talks and cheering on audience side. It is required to take safety measures including wearing masks. This regulation will remain in force until the end of November.
Further relaxation of overseas travel restrictions
Currently seven Asian countries and regions are included in Japan's expanding travel bubble, namely Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Short-term business travel between Japan and Singapore resumed on September 18.
