Tokyo's Newest Bid Win for IEEE INFOCOM 2026
Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau (TCVB) is delighted to announce that Tokyo will host
the IEEE International Conference on Computer Communications 2026 (IEEE INFOCOM
2026) from May 19 to May 22 at the Hilton Tokyo.
IEEE INFOCOM is one of the most prestigious conferences on networking in the research
community, providing a platform for researchers to present and exchange ideas and
contributions in the field of networking and related fields. Held annually in cities around the
world, this will be the first time it has been held in Japan for 29 years, since the Kobe
conference in 1997. The event is expected to attract 900 participants including 800
participants from overseas.
TCVB is supporting the Conference with a generous financial subsidy from the Tokyo
Metropolitan Government (TMG). The provision of half-day city tours for overseas delegates
was also key in the selection.
TCVB and TMG will continue to support IEEE INFOCOM 2026 through the delivery of the
event. We are confident it will be a resounding success and a memorable experience for all
delegates.
