International Convention on Quality Control Circles Expected to Welcome 2,000 Participants to Tokyo
We are pleased to announce the International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) is coming to Tokyo in October 2029 and will be hosted by the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE). This prestigious event is expected to attract 2,000 participants from almost 20 countries and regions for a lively gathering.
ICQCC has been held annually since 1976 and is coming to Tokyo for the 7th time, reflecting an outstanding track record in quality control circles. Quality Control Circles were first conceptualized in Japan in 1962, before spreading to the rest of Asia, and the 2029 event will be another milestone in this rich history.
ICQCC 2029 has the full support of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau which is providing a generous financial subsidy and in-kind support such as Tokyo City Tours for overseas delegates.
