About the Current Situation in Tokyo

14 May 2020 NEWS

Dear planners, organizers and business partners,

Due to the COVID-19 situation, a state of emergency has been declared covering Tokyo and other major prefectures in Japan by the Government of Japan on April 7th. Residents in Tokyo are currently being asked to refrain from leaving home and non-essential services have stopped their operation or shortened their business hours. All business events also have had to be cancelled or postponed.

(For the list of businesses that have been suspended, please visit the official site of Tokyo Metropolitan Government: https://www.bousai.metro.tokyo.lg.jp/

We, the Tokyo business events team also have been working from home. However, we are still working hard to support business event organizers and our partners. We are deeply saddened that we cannot welcome you to our beautiful city at the moment, but we believe we can prevail this time too, as we have done in the past. We all are looking forward to welcoming you back to Tokyo in the near future.

Take care and stay healthy,
Your Business Events TOKYO team
