The Current Situation in Tokyo
To continue efforts to contain the number of omicron variant cases, the Japanese government has extended its implementation of the quasi-state of emergency in Tokyo until 6 March. Dining facilities are requested to close early (9 p.m. at the latest) and stop or limit the serving of alcohol.
An attendance cap of 20,000 persons is in place for holding events. Full capacity at the venue is allowed if an infection prevention plan is implemented.
