Third Place for the Sixth Consecutive Year in the Annual Global Power City Index
According to the Annual Global Power City Index ranking, Tokyo has yet again preserved its number 3 rank and continues to display its consistent strengths in all functions while also raising its position in Livability. The substantial progress in Workstyle Flexibility contributed to this improvement. The city is behind only London and New York for the sixth year in a row among the top 40 major global cities in this ranking compiled every year by the Mori Memorial Foundation's Institute for Urban Strategies.
