The Business Events Tokyo team is pleased to announce that Tokyo has secured the winning bid for the 2028 Goldschmidt Conference. The Conference will be held at the renowned Tokyo International Forum from July 9-14, 2028, and is expected to attract over 4,200 participants from around the globe.

Goldschmidt is the annual Conference of the Geochemical Society and the European Association of Geochemistry, first held in 1988. While Japan has previously hosted the conference in Kurashiki and Yokohama, this marks the first time it will be held in Tokyo.

Tokyo was selected for its excellent academic credentials, world-class convention infrastructure and its global appeal. A strong bid from the Geochemical Society of Japan and financial and in-kind support from the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau were also instrumental in the selection.

The Business Events Tokyo team looks forward to welcoming participants and will continue to support the Goldschmidt Conference through every stage of planning and event delivery.
