Dear planners, organizers, and business partners, | ||
As new COVID-19 cases drastically declined across the country, the Japanese government has eased the attendance cap for large-scale events. The maximum capacity is set to 10,000 attendees from December if an infection prevention plan is implemented. Furthermore, a full venue capacity is allowed if the "vaccine/test package system," where the audience shows a vaccine certificate or a negative test result upon entry, is implemented at the venue. However, the Japanese government closed borders to new entries of foreign nationals, including business travelers, for a month, as fears of the new omicron variant of the coronavirus grew. We all pray that the world will overcome this pandemic. |
